The Ball Screw is a high-efficiency feed screw with the ball making a rolling motion between the screw axis and the nut. Compared with a conventional sliding screw, this product has drive torque of one-third or less, making it most suitable for saving drive motor power.

Standardized combinations of ball screw and other required components come as a package. Pre-assembled ball screw kit contributes to reduction of design and assembly time. Available ball screw models are compact nut type BNK (Shaft OD 6 ~ 10) & DIN standard high-speed type SDA (Shaft OD 10 ~ 25 mm). Intermediate flange & coupling are also available for multiple motor specs.
Ball Screw shaft ends are machined to fit with THK’s standard support units (BK/BF, EK/EF, and FK/FF Series). Our standard support units can be found in Ball Screw Accessories.
