Product returns to THK America, Inc. require prior authorization under the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Policy. Product returns are accepted for quality issues, repairs, shipping errors, customer service issues and sales errors. Requests for product returns should be made within sixty (60) days of the original Invoice Date. Any requests made past sixty (60) days of the original Invoice Date will be reviewed by THK America, Inc. prior to granting authorization.
Product return requests due to customer error will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by THK America, Inc. THK America, Inc. reserves the right to charge a 20% or $150, whichever is larger, restocking fee. THK America, Inc. also reserves the right to reject product return requests.
Approved Return Authorization forms will be e-mailed with an RMA Number, a shipping address, and further instruction pertaining to the product return.
The material authorized for return should be delivered to the respective THK America, Inc. facility within thirty (30) days from the date the RMA Number is issued to the customer.
Please enclose a copy of the Return Authorization form. The RMA Number must be clearly displayed on the exterior of the shipping container. Returned material without proper identification may be refused at the customer’s expense.
Shipments should go prepaid unless approved collect by THK America, Inc. THK America, Inc. must specify carrier if shipped collect.
Prior to credits being issued for returned materials, THK America, Inc. will perform a detailed product inspection. If there is any damage found on any product, the customer will be notified and may be liable for repair labor and associated parts costs to restore the returned product to an acceptable restocking condition.
Returned materials for repair will be evaluated and customer will be advised of cost. At that time, an additional Purchase Order may be required for the repair labor and associated parts costs.
